Sue Rudd has over 30 years’ experience in both Telecoms and IT, providing strategy input and marketing expertise for equipment vendors, service providers and startups. As a leading Industry Analyst she currently identifies and evaluates Next Gen. 5G Standalone (SA) opportunities including Edge Services, Network Slicing, Private Networks, Hybrid Fixed and Mobile Networking, RAN AI and Open vRAN evolution, AI/ML and Gen. AI as well as tracking Telco Cloud ‘co-opetition’ with Hyperscaler Cloud Providers (HCPs).

Over her career, she has worked for Strategy Analytics (now TechInsights), Comverse Technologies (now Mavenir), Motorola Cellular (now Nokia), Codex (Motorola’s enterprise equipment subsidiary), Bolt, Beranek and Newman (BBN) creators of ARPANET (now Raytheon) and Burroughs Corp. (now Unisys).

Sue has an MBA in Operations Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, UK. She also did coursework towards a Ph.D at MIT.
