Dr. Ricky Chau is Chief Strategy & Customer Officer at CBC Tech based in Hong Kong. In his role, he is responsible for driving CBC Tech’s corporate strategy and transformation, and leading the enterprise business, service delivery, service assurance and customer support.

Ricky has over 20 years of experience in telecom and tech industries with extensive experience in global business. Prior to joining CBC Tech, Ricky served as Vice President of enterprise business for Asia Pacific & Japan at Lumen Technologies. Prior to this role, he led the Asia Pacific business for Global Crossing and Level 3 Communications.

Ricky serves at advisory council of Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC). He also serves as an advisory member of Entrepreneurship Committee Advisory Group (ECAG) of Hong Kong Cyberport.

Ricky is recognized as Power 100 by Capacity Media in 2023 and 2024, which profiles the trailblazers, innovators and the leaders driving the global digital infrastructure space.

Ricky earned his doctoral degree in business administration at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and holds an EMBA degree from the University of Ottawa in Canada.
