Marc Vandeputte is co-founder and CTO of Arcadiz Telecom, a Benelux based integrator with expertise in optical, ethernet and IP based networks, delivering tailor made connectivity solutions to blue chip companies. With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry he began his career in 1993 in systems engineering with vendors Motorola and ADC Kentrox. He cofounded Arcadiz in 1999. Under his technical leadership, the company grew from a value-added distributor with consultancy services in 1999 to a full-service integrator, monitoring and intervening 24x7 on operator networks in 2008. In 2010 an own operator activity was started for data center interconnect (DCI) that grew into a more general Benelux connectivity operator in 2017, adding FLAPD in 2021. Marc Vandeputte earned his master’s degree in electrical engineering (KULeuven) and business administration (UCL).
