Betty Bonnardel MBE is an award-winning Fellow and Chartered Engineer with a background in the Space and Energy sectors. Betty is recipient of a British MBE. She has worked for esteemed organisations including NASA, European Space Agency (ESA). Betty is currently CEO and Founder of B Corp certified and award-winning www.AB5Consulting.com, delivering innovative solutions in space and satellite, nuclear, telecoms, tech, energy. In 2020, she has founded Farmer Charlie, a smart platform allowing farmers affordably to improve their farming practice with real-time information and infrastructure (including Broadband, solar panels, sensors) in remote areas.

She uses her experience and skills in telecoms, tech and innovation, business and strategy to lead AB5’s team towards supporting projects, business development, business & technical studies, sustainability, stakeholders’ engagement as a service. AB5 is system integrator, using IoT, artificial intelligence, digital twins. She holds two Masters’ in Science in aeronautical and space engineering, and a MBA. Betty is a certified project manager. Betty is also engaged in society; she is a school governor and participates regularly to school fairs and events to promote engineering with boys and girls.
